What This Workshop
Is About
This two‑day masterclass is for teams and individuals who want to move beyond basic smartphone video and develop a genuine content‑production capability in‑house. Day one focuses on camera craft — mastering your settings, controlling light, composing strong shots and capturing clean audio across a range of real‑world scenarios. Day two shifts to editing, where you will build a complete narrative edit in CapCut, add professional‑grade captions, sound design and colour adjustments, and develop a content pipeline you can sustain week after week. You will leave with two completed videos, a full toolkit of templates and a publishing strategy.

What We Cover
Day 2 — Colour, Publishing & Content Pipeline
Apply colour correction and creative grading inside CapCut to give your content a consistent visual identity. Export platform‑specific versions for Instagram Reels, TikTok and LinkedIn. Build a 30‑day content calendar, set up a repeatable production workflow and leave with a full toolkit of templates, checklists and a publishing strategy you can run independently.
Day 1 — Camera Craft: Settings, Light & Audio
Unlock your smartphone camera’s full potential. Set resolution, frame rate and shutter speed manually, use exposure lock and focus peaking, and explore slow motion and timelapse. Learn to control natural and artificial light, build a simple portable kit with LEDs and reflectors, and capture broadcast‑quality audio using external microphones and a clean recording environment.
Day 1 — Composition, Movement & Multi‑Angle Coverage
Develop a visual language for your content. Apply advanced composition techniques including foreground layering, depth and perspective. Learn to add intentional camera movement using gimbals, sliders and simple in‑camera techniques. Plan and execute multi‑angle coverage so your edit has variety, energy and professional production value.
Day 2 — Narrative Editing & Sound Design in CapCut
Build a compelling edit from your Day 1 footage. Construct a narrative arc using the Hook–Context–Tension–Shift–Meaning–Action framework, cut to rhythm, layer music and sound effects, clean dialogue with audio tools, and design captions and lower thirds that hold attention on a silent scroll. Produce a complete, polished vertical video ready for publishing.
